DESCRIPTION:Indigenous People’s Celebration – Connect with Nature!  Fr
 om noon to 1:30pm\, up to 25 members of Rotary can register to attend our 
 private forest therapy walk hosted by Little Cataraqui Conservation Area i
 n recognition of National Indigenous Awareness Week.  The walk will cost 
 $20 (bring cash) which includes the entrance fee to the park.  Please reg
 ister on our website - (first come first serve) we need to report the numb
 ers by Tuesday 10 am  to the host of this event. You are welcome to bring
  your dog as long as it is on a leash during the entire event.  Forest Th
 erapy is a mindful\, healing and connective practice inspired by the Japan
 ese practice of 'Shinrin-Yoku' which translates into 'forest bathing'. Spe
 nding time in nature not only strengthens human immune response and reduce
 s stress\, but also make us more creative\, mindful\, and content in our l
 ives. The beauty of Forest Therapy is that it connects humans and nature\,
  so that both benefit from a renewed relationship. Everyone can benefit fr
 om Forest Therapy Walks such as people coping with loss\, students\, profe
 ssionals\, parents\, people looking to better their mental health\,  and 
 seniors. Anyone who is looking to de-stress\, slow down\, heal and connect
  with nature.
