The weather cooperated and under blue skies more than 90 participants competed in three divisions: Novice, Intermediate and Open.

The athletes competed as individuals in this mixed event, and each played six 15-minute timed games, switching partners after each game. The winners were decided by calculating the scores for and against each player.
There was also a silent auction of many donated items, a raffle of a gift basket filled with assorted chocolates, and a 50/50 draw. CKWS provided music with their cruiser, and Global News covered the event which was broadcast later that evening.
